Computer emerged in 2024 when Will and Jared found common ground in their love for intricate riffs and honest lyrics. Deeply rooted in the DIY emo tradition, we're building something that feels both familiar and fresh for a new generation.

Our Sound

We craft math rock and Midwest emo that doesn't require a music theory degree to appreciate. Our songs balance technical elements with emotional accessibility—complex enough to reward repeat listens but immediate enough to connect on first play.

We're here to break down the barriers around Midwest emo. While we honor the scene's rich history, we're not gatekeeping.
